Two Records Broken In Sharks Sprint Swim Meet

Two records were broken as local swimmers hit the pool for the Kattegat Limited Sharks Sprint Swimming Meet.

During the 11-12 Boys 4×50 Freestyle relay, the Sharks team of Giulio Ligori, Joseph Vallis, Flynn Watson-Brown and Harlan Watson Brown broke the old record of 2:05.24 set by Shannon Botelho, Mitchell Gariepy, Charles Pilgrim and Jesse Washington back in March 2011, setting a new record time of 2:03.53.

Arabella Newport-Derbyshire set a new age division record time of 3:09.30 in the 200 backstroke, breaking the old record of 3:13.86 set by Elan Daley back in February 2014.
